The Last Post... But the Dreamcatcher Hangs On (Dream, Dream, Catch [echo effect])

Yes, this entire post is a hyperlink to the website which will contain far, far more information (literally!) than this here organ could have ever hoped or dreamed to.

I said I would put out 6 albums (or 12 or something) in 2007. I lied! I totally barely put out any. Did I even put anything out? I guess we put out Out Skies.

Well, the future won't be defined by strict releases. At hugebig.info, which is currently represented by the repository at hbinfo.pbwiki.com (much love to the PBWiki team and their product), we group releases as {Albums} using the Bob Hope Bracket popularized by Maro Jy Blow, (pronounced so as to rhyme with a word such as "plow") though we may also release physical things, such as disks, vinyl record platters or "vinylbums," or perhaps even the Barn Naked Lady's favorite, USB-style memory sticks.

The first two releases are Graham Smith & KGW {Yes Boss} and Gates of Heaven {Sea Hell}.

They are basically totally free to download, listen to and use.

It would be great if you paid us money! Since it took many people and monies to make the records. That's not to say we're going to stop.

That's why we think you should pay us non-transactionally if at all.

Is one album I recorded in the past priceless to you because of nostalgia, pure classicism of composition or a mixture of the two? Maybe it's worth $200, and then you'll never feel guilty. (I'll probably make you a custom t-shirt too and send it to you).

Do you like my strange new meanderings into Hard Jazz, and want to encourage me and my cohortriots to continue? Give us $5 a month for a year. We'll probably give you a copy of the albums and more than you can shake a rain-stick at.

So, it's been real, fans. I've posted some shit here. Don't buy the physical CDs anymore, though I will still fulfill outstanding orders. Soon, I hope. I'll have links to physical product on the site as well.

Coming soon--more Graham Smith, KGW, Gates of Heaven, Los Emos, and old Kleenex Girl Wonder stuff. Please come.

It will also have members-only content (music, lyrics, stories, poems about butterflies, and so on). Membership is free with almost any donation (current threshold is a lifetime spend of US$4).

Also Tarzan says he loves you! I finally found a job for him over at hbinfo.pbwiki.com. He says "Hang Loose and Loud!" and hopes you'll see him at his new computer server!

New Album for Free

OH MY GOD it's been a long time. I have a draft somewhere saved on Europe adventures. I'll try to finish that one up.

But for now, this blog may be sunsetted pretty soon. FEAR NOT, that's a-'cause I started a new site entirely.

hugebig.info which for now points to
hbinfo.pbwiki.com

WHICH, if you poke around, features the following YouSendIt link:

Graham Smith & KGW - Yes Boss 2xCD

Yes that's right, it's Yes Boss, the album I've been talking about for roughly I don't know EVER? Ring any bells hotshot?

And yes, it's totally free to download. Distribute. Use in your favorite Coca-Cola (tm) commercials sans licensing fees.

If you would like to pay for it, simply send what you think is fair to hugebigboy@gmail.com.

And make sure you bookmark hbinfo.pbwiki.com! This is not the only free thing I shall be unleasing.

Uh Yae Hah Yo Why Eye Yo?

So "Secret Thinking" it is. Glory be to Garfield that two votes constitutes a quorum in these troubling and uncertain times.

"Yuppies, Musicians, and Young Professionals" will then naturally become the title of a shorter-form release which is apparently already scheduled. More deets tee kay as I am fond of saying.

Let's get Agile with it, though. Here's some song titles:

1. Vining
2. There is a Cigarette that Never Goes Out
3. All the Et Ceteras
4. The Act

Still workin' on 'em. Think I have the cover done though, and it looks great.

Fuck Everything, We're Doing Eight Blades

OK seriously it's time to start moving on the next KGW album.

I'll say it right here: the mixtape is deprecated. Something mixy will come out but it MOMN include very much new material. The good stuff will go onto this next record.

Help me name it. I have two candidates, both discovered in the past 24 hours. One of them will be the winner.

And it all begins, right now!

1. Secret Thinking
2. Yuppies, Musicians, and Young Professionals

Prefer one today!

Whoa, everything's going crazy right about now. But it's all good for you dudes.

* HEARTLE$$ ep, the precursor to the long-awaited Kleenex Girl Wonder "Mrs. Equitone" album, will come out on True Panther records at some point in the near future. I guess I should finish, deliver, and get permission to mention that first, but c'mon folks, I'm trying to get you excited here

* Gates of Heaven, "Sea Hell" album coming shortly. Also we are playing a couple of really cool shows in Europe. Details T/K

* Doin' LARGE ITAMS bka big thangs with DJ Douggpound over at Superdeluxe.com. Like this:

Poundcast 1 Remix w/ M.C. World (see below)

Su Lo

So wow, I survived the massive bloodletting. That's right, you know the one. Kind of hard to wrap my head around. But good news, to be sure.

Did I mention? I'm going to put out a high profile 7". Well, I think it's high profile, but I tend to think pretty highly of myself. It's pretty much done being recorded really, a few twerks and tworks needed here and there. Also need the art. Voss where you at?

I think we ventured into some brave new territory with Gates of Heaven last night.

"He shovels your shit and packs your garbage into the landfill, you selfish piece of garbage yourself."

Child Prodigy

Hey folks, I started a muxtape:

Link 2.2 website

Yes, it's the easy to remember ch.muxtape.com. It will be updated consistently. Right now I put three songs up. More will come, don't you worry. Bookmarket!

Gonna go get some thai food in a minute. Then I'll record this afternoon I'd guess. Stuff for ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA The Mixtape Vol 1.

I forgot to mention that Gates of Heaven albums besides just Sea Hell will be coming. For instance, the dual (triple) saw attack of Lyemouth/Light House.

On a more personal note, anyone who has something against keeping a blog, I would suggest staying far away from the fool and never trusting them.

A blog is not for everybody, just like independently distributed lyric-focused pop/rock isn't for everybody. A blog is Internet slang for a log, and if you don't know what a log is, it's what boat captains write and keep in order to document their days of long voyages and travels.

It's like a diary.

So for a young, veteran, hardcore singer-songwriter like myself, that's been in the game for over 16 years to keep a blog--on my own website, mind you--is groundbreaking and very interesting.

Thanks!
