So, unlike the picture I saw in my mind (as opposed to with my eyes), we actually got a fair amount of stuff done on Saturday night.
Gates of Heaven videographist Yahshua Mosey (aka Yeah Sure) even made the scene in order to capture some raw data generation. We are, after all, the raw data generation (I read it in a learning manual).
The new album is called "Empty Land." Some songs that we started on this weekend:
Night Chaunt
Heal and Clone
War Song
The Modern Dragon
Validis
Duc
My sampler (the backbone of the Gates of Heaven experience) got totally borked about 3 hours before go-time AKA showtime. I lost some bent sequences but nothing too heart-breaking. Say lavvey as they say, phonetically.
I have a solid recording strategy worked out for how to capture all of these GOH shows. I may share the MP3 of last night with you if I think it's up to snuff. Let me know in the comments if you want to hear it.
Speaking of comments, thanks for the suggestions E. That's a lot of stuff to wade through. Also the second GOH album is done and awaiting release. It's actually at the dupers right now... soon soon soon.
Now accepting song titles. Upcoming GOH shows in NY:
November 30 - Pianos, upstairs @ 7 - unofficial Sea Hell release/Empty Land announcement
December 13 - Pianos, downstairs @ whenever - unofficial Ussed Age announcement
